Kanga on vacation...

Kanga is living at Camp West for the last few days while Christy and family are out of town. She and Ella have been lounging around the deck and backyard, getting that puppy some fresh air to wear her out. She is great with the kids ages 5, 8, and 12. She does have a tendency to jump up on them, but does snuggle in when she is tired.
She sits when told and loves squeaky stuffed toys. She enjoys the dogs surrounding the yard, she will go right up to the fence and get a good sniff in or friendly tail wag for anyone nearby. Kanga inhales her food. She has a nose that doesn't stop, she doesn't pay much attention to birds just loves to sniff all over the house and yard. I think she even picked up Doreen's scent on her favorite part of the couch from over a month ago. Confident Courious pup. Her long legs remind me of Gidget now Kiera.

She is a brave, good watch dog too. Last night around 10:00 she was barking at our shed, I thought maybe she had a small animal trapped the way she was carrying on. I ran out there to hear the boys Fischer Price basball pitching machine motor running making beeping noises and trying to shoot out baseballs. Kanga (how appropriate) pounced on the button that turns the machine on and was barking at it as it was put on the side of the shed by our boys who don't like to pick up. She turned it on a few times while I watched her. Silly Puppy!
